The Spanish speaking countries lesson is designed to acquaint the children with the Spanish speaking countries in the world and to teach the children the basic history of how Spanish emerged as one of the dominant languages of the Western Hemisphere. There are 21 three-part cards in this lesson.

Description

Each three-part card consists of a composite card containing both the Spanish name and the map of a Spanish speaking country, a card containing just the map, and a card containing just the name of the country. The lesson includes an 8 x 11 Spanish Speaking Countries Map for coloring and labeling by children and its control of error. A Teacher’s Lesson Plan is included which enables Montessori teachers and parents with little or no previous experience in Spanish instruction to begin teaching Spanish immediately.
