The Spanish speaking countries lesson is designed to acquaint the children with the Spanish speaking countries in the world and to teach the children the basic history of how Spanish emerged as one of the dominant languages of the Western Hemisphere. The lessons are divided into different levels for use with children of varying ages and abilities.

Activity 1: Includes 8×11 brief history, 8×11 world map highlighting spanish speaking countries,
Activity 2: Includes 8×11 Spanish Speaking Countries Map for coloring and labeling by children and its control of error,
Activity 3: Includes 42 matching cards of spanish speaking countires and their capitals (21 countries and 21 capitals).

A detailed Teacher’s Lesson Plan is included for each Activity which enables Montessori teachers and parents with little or no previous experience in Spanish instruction to begin teaching Spanish immediately
